Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Begin your adventure with pickup from your Las Vegas hotel and enjoy a light breakfast before departing for Utah.

Your first stop is Zion National Park, where you’ll explore towering sandstone cliffs, scenic overlooks, and famous landmarks including The Watchman and Checkerboard Mesa.

Continue to Lower Antelope Canyon, where a certified Navajo guide will lead you through the narrow sandstone corridors of one of the world’s most famous slot canyons.

Afterward, visit Horseshoe Bend, where the Colorado River makes its spectacular 270-degree curve beneath towering cliffs.

In the evening, check into your included hotel in Page, Arizona.

Day 2

After breakfast, continue to Grand Canyon National Park – South Rim.

Visit several spectacular viewpoints such as Yavapai Point, Grandview Point, and Lipan Point (stops may vary), giving you unforgettable panoramic views of one of the world’s greatest natural wonders.
Leaving the canyon behind, travel along legendary Historic Route 66, stopping in Williams for lunch (own expense) before continuing to Seligman, the birthplace of the Route 66 revival, where you’ll have time to explore and take photos.
Later, continue to Las Vegas where you’ll spend the night at your included hotel and enjoy a free evening on the Strip.

Day 3

After checking out of your Las Vegas hotel, meet your guide between 6:30 and 7:00 AM and begin the scenic journey through the Mojave Desert toward California.

Stop in Twentynine Palms to purchase fresh sandwiches for a picnic lunch inside Joshua Tree National Park.
Your first park stop is Cholla Cactus Garden, home to a dense and remarkably photogenic field of cholla cacti.
Continue to Skull Rock, a famous natural rock formation shaped like a human skull.
Visit Keys View for sweeping views across the Coachella Valley and San Andreas Fault from one of the park’s highest overlooks.
Finish your Joshua Tree experience along the Hidden Valley Nature Trail, a short loop surrounded by massive granite boulders and the park’s signature Joshua trees.
Depart the park in the afternoon and continue to Los Angeles. The tour concludes with convenient drop-off at your chosen Los Angeles location between approximately 6:00 and 7:00 PM.

The tour departs Las Vegas between 6:00–6:40 AM on Day 1 and finishes in Los Angeles around 6:30–7:30 PM on Day 3.

We offer complimentary pickup from all hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, plus select hotels within approximately two miles of the Strip. At the end of the tour, you’ll be dropped off at one of two convenient Los Angeles locations: LAX or Downtown Los Angeles.

Yes, two nights of comfortable hotel accommodations are included in the tour price.

Breakfast is included on Days 2 and 3. Lunch and dinner stops will be at local restaurants or cafes with a variety of options. Unlimited snacks, drinks, and bottled water are provided throughout the trip.

You’ll ride in a modern, premium air-conditioned van with comfortable seating and large windows for sightseeing.

Luggage and suitcases, including carry-on suitcases, cannot be accommodated. Handbags, backpacks, duffel bags, and other small soft-sided bags are allowed.

This tour includes several short, easy walks:

 

Zion National Park: A relaxed, 1.1–1.3 mile accessible trail with light elevation.

 

Horseshoe Bend: About 1.3 miles round-trip, with an uphill section on the return.

 

Lower Antelope Canyon: Around 0.7 miles inside the canyon, with a series of metal stairs at the entrance and exit.

 

Most guests with average mobility complete these walks comfortably. There are no long or strenuous hikes on this itinerary.

Yes, vegetarian options are available upon request at booking.

Gratuities are not included. Tipping is optional but appreciated. We recommend $15 per person, per day for your MaxTour guide, and $5 per person for your Navajo guide at Lower Antelope Canyon.

Government-Mandated Non-Resident Park Fees
(Effective January 5, 2026)

Grand Canyon National Park and Zion National Park require a non-resident entry fee for non-U.S. residents age 16 and older. These government-mandated fees are set and collected by the U.S. National Park Service and are not included in the tour price.

Under National Park Service rules, non-U.S. residents must be covered at park entry by one of the following:

Non-resident entrance fee: $100 per adult, per park

Non-Resident America the Beautiful Annual Pass: $250 per pass

One annual pass may cover up to four adults entering together in the same vehicle. Fees apply for each applicable national park visited on the tour.

Coverage must be resolved before park entry. MaxTour does not collect or manage National Park Service non-resident entry fees. Fees and requirements are set by the National Park Service and are subject to change.
